Since the first episode of the creative diary, it seems that has passed so much time, but maybe it's just all the projects I’ve started that make it seem that way. I’ve made a quick list to write this post, and seeing all the different things I’ve started makes me smile a lot. For so long I’ve dedicated my time to knitting, while my creative mind was also amazed by so many other things, and now that I’m finally trying different fields I’m so happy. Some things are better suited for me than others, at which I’m not very good, but I’m trying.
I want to make a list to see better all the things I’ve started, and how many are either for me or for gifts.
hand knitted striped socks (for a future shop update)
embroidery on a tote bag (for me)
pictures (for me and social media)
journaling with a collage (for me)
mood board with little details that make me smile (for me and social media)
started a new sweater (for me)
started a new shawl (for a future shop update)
drawings (for me)
fine embroidery on a linen scarf (for me)
embroidery on a t-shirt (a gift)
something new and exciting: a combination of lopsided drawings + embroidery + words, a sort of collage drawings and embroidery on the scarf
There is a knitting project that I’ve finished this month and that I love wearing these days, where one day is wintery and the next is springy and warm, but still quite chilling during the evening. I’m talking about the Cocoon Chokki by Noriko Ichikawa.
I enjoyed very much knitting this vest, but wearing it has brought me so much joy, for the fit, the warm, all. I’ve knitted the size 2 helding double La Madrilana dLana in the colour 14.
It’s nice to see your work in several mediums. Exploring is so fun!
